Photography literally means "writing with light". This blog/project is dedicated to 365 days of learning about my camera, photography, and the art of seeing. I will dedicate at least 30 minutes everyday to some aspect of photography and journal my daily adventures.

Picture Sorting
Believe it or not I am still sorting through all my picture files. I am sorting them into files on my desk top and from there I will go through each folder and delete the crappy ones, contemplate the "so-so's" and work on the potentials in Photoshop Elements 7.

Nearing the Finish
I spent another good two hours sorting through my picture folders on my computer tonight. I am nearing the finish line! I am guessing maybe one more night and I will be able to take some into Photoshop Elements 7 and make them ready for competition within the Camera Club. I am so excited that I am working on these projects,.... it is satisfying to check these little projects "off the list".

Oh Boy!
I think I spent a good 3 hours going through my picture files on my computer and deleteing a trillion of them. I am really in the mood to organize them, edit them, and get serious about what I am going to do with them. I feel the need to stop and do this NOW because I know I will be taking a trillion more and the time to organize is today!

Tired Eyes
I waited too long yesterday to do my reading and I nearly feel asleep in the lazyboy! Ok, I did nod a few times but I struggled to get my reading done from 10-10:30 pm. I mostly looked through the User's Guide and read bits and pieces. If in doubt,... read the Guide...and then if you have any questions,... read the Guide.

Home Again
We spent the day traveling back to Spokane from our trip to Denver. I spent a good long time reading through the User's Guide that came with my camera. There is so much to learn and I feel like I have a pretty good handle on about one quarter of its features... Tomorrow is my first nite with the Camera Club and I can't wait!
